It's Competition Time!

Congratulations are in order to our very own Beth! This past Sunday, Beth ran her 8th London Winter Run to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. We are proud to announce that not only did Beth complete her run in just over 1 hour, her donations also exceeded £500. Beth celebrated in style with her family, a pint of lager and a packet of crisps!

 After a successful 2024, Stellar Despatch are excited to ring in a fresh new year. We hope to see all of our current customers that we have built up successful relationships over the years come along for the ride - in addition to making connections with new companies. A big thank you for continuing to trust and support us with your same-day courier needs; from the excellent feedback our team receives, we strive to maintain and evolve our friendly, stellar service into 2025...

 This November, the Stellar Despatch boys want to have a bit of fun while raising awareness of some important health issues: prostate/testicular cancer, men’s mental health, and suicide prevention. We are supporting the Movember campaign by letting our facial hair run wild and documenting our progress on social media each Monday in November - all for a great cause. Though we may not appear as our most tidy selves, we want to spread the word of the importance in men being open. Our task is to challenge the taboo of sharing what we are feeling and ensuring we are checking our bodies regularly for any signs of abnormalities. Movember are an amazing global charity and we hope you can help us in raising a little bit of money for them. Our link for donations will be posted on our social media channels and we hope our customers can support us in any way they can - be it a donation, a like, or a share. Let's do this!

This week, our directors, Paul and Wayne joined Mark and Ian, winners of our Sunningdale Golf competition, at the Jenahura Tour Championship. A great day on possibly the finest inland course in Britain. Keep an eye out for our future competitions that will feature courses such as Bearwood Lakes , Hankley Common and once again, Sunningdale .

There have been lots of exciting things happen with our Stellar Despatch staff members in recent weeks. Gwynn, our Operations Manager in Bristol, welcomed her first child into the world last month. Mother and daughter Mabel are doing perfectly and we wanted to wish her all the luck in the world whilst she departs us temporarily for maternity leave. We hope Gwynn enjoys this special time as a new family. Beth, our Account Manager in Waterlooville, appeared this week on the new BBC gameshow The Answer Run. Competing with her sister Em, she managed to bag a £5700 prize - so the office treats are on her for the next month! Congratulations Beth! Finally for a female-driven hat trick, our Operations Assistant, Taryn returns this week following her maternity leave. We are all very happy to welcome her back in the office to brighten up our days again with her bubbly nature.
